PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES
Overall Duties
The day-to-day management of a team and a project as required.
The day-to-day management of the site team, including (but not limited to) safe site set-up, administrative work, all required paperwork, workplace safety, material handling / procurement and work planning.
Building relationships with clients, sub-contractors and team members;
Assist with general labouring duties both onsite and in the depot as directed by the Field Supervisor, Project Manager.
Vehicle and machinery operating and upkeep;
Quality assurance;
Abide by and uphold all SCC&U WHS&E requirements as well as any other onsite WHS&E requirements of the principle contractor
Participate in all meetings / tool box talks as directed by Team Leader, Field Supervisor, Project Manager;
Hold toolbox meetings with your direct team as directed upon you by your Field Supervisor.
Additional tasks as direct by management.
Required Skills
White card
Ability to drive a minimum of a MR registered heavy vehicle with manual gearbox
Minimum 2yrs Pit and pipe / civil comms experience
Ability to work nights, weekends and work away from home
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
Excavator operating tickets;
Strong knowledge of the civil communications construction field;
Ability to problem solve and make decision;
Work confidently unattended;
Ability to work with phone based Apps; and
Time Management skills.

Qualifications and Education
Valid MR driver’s licence with a manual gearbox
Minimum 2 years experience in similar role
